Why do you use the medium you use?

I like to use traphite because I believe you can get a better result than any other medium, such as paint, charcoal, water color.  I would however like use color pencils as a new means of medium. To do art work in color is my next big step.

What role does art play in your life?

Art is something very important in my life.  It's a passion that I have had since I was a child.  To take a piece of paper, canvas or wood and make it into something only you can see what it is, is beautiful.  And what can be more beautiful than building something with these hands.

What inspires you to create? 

I don’t know what really inspires me. I just love to draw and I take every moment of life to think about how this would look this way and that way and try to find beauty in my work.

Transformation Statement

Transformation means to me trying every day to be some better version of yourself.  I have transformed my way of thinking and took the time to reflect on myself and my action as a father, son and husband and wanted the change to be better in every way.  My hope for this transformation is that people can see my true self as an artist, a person, and a father.  To not limit me to my actions as a child not a man.
