Transformation Statement

Transformation means new beginnings, the hope that no matter how dark it is, you continue to show up, work hard, and things will get better. I have learned to count my blessings and have a mindset that trial and tribulation breed motivation to dig deep, face the nitty gritty grimy stuff and focus and lean on a power greater than myself. My hope for transformation is that it is so big and bold that someone, even if it is just one person, can draw their hope and strength from my struggle. As a young man, I never thought about how my actions affect those around me. I was selfish, ignorant, full of rage and insecurities. I treated people as if they were temporary vending machines. I was a lost little cub. Going through my struggle and opening my eyes I have been able to look at some things, face my demons, and become humble. My morals and values and priorities have changed, my love of self shines outward, and is a beacon of hope for those still lost. I've grown and matured into the likes of a confident tiger.
