Inspiration:

I was inspired to lead men to understand his "options" once he is confined to the MN Department of Corrections. I am inspired to teach. I was inspired to "inspire." In this piece, I teach what "justice" is in the MN DOC.

What role does art play in your life?

Art is what I do. I teach, inspire. I love on folks through discipline, hope, art, or on understanding that creativity in one's self is life-changing. My life inspires my art.

Justice statement:

A man has conflict with law enforcement. He is judged guilty. The law "says so." Confined to county jail, then on to prison. The choices a man has at this time of his life are what justice in the MN Department of Corrections offer and has always offered. Spiritual contemplation. All the various "religions" available, physical fitness, wellness, weight training, pullups, dips, basketball and education. Reading/study classroom settings, art . . . to name a few. A balance of body/mind/spirit is the key. These are our options, used properly leads to success. This is justice in the MN Department of Corrections.
