Inspiration:

Birds are just so beautiful and I have been called a jail bird so many times it's more of a compliment than criticism, because we are all unique and while different, we all hold something beautiful about us. Everything is not dark.

Justice statement:

We look at a bird and we see a beauty in them, a beauty created by God. We don't look at birds and think "jailbird." We marvel at them and try to make sense of something being so beautiful and have compassion for them. We want to save them. My idea of justice is seeing others with compassion and knowing that when we are broken, we need help being put back together again. See people as just as you. See a beautiful bird.
