Willie Murphy was a mentor, friend, teacher, in music. He taught me a lot about art and music and life and guided me to live both. In short, he’s my hero.

What role does art play in your life?

It is my life. I see colors, perspectives, depth, shapes, shading in everything I see. [What inspires you to create your art?] To express myself.
