My culture and advocating through my art for Native people in past, present, and future. This has become a serious issue in America. I have the ability to share in a unique way that inspires me. For the identity behind my life and my people's lives. This drawing represents all brutality to Natives and the epidemic for missing and murdered Indigenous people. I learned growing up and seeing that Natives are abused and I've seen and been a victim of the brutality towards Native Americans.

Identity Statement
A dream catcher is a direct path to my ancestors and history of Alaskan Natives as well as Minnesota Native Americans. The dream catcher resembles and acts as a traditional piece that allows the dreams to either pass through the circle in the middle or to be caught in the web -it all depends on location and tribes- which allows you to hold on to the positive dreams.
What role does art play in your life?
Art is therapeutic and an out mentally from prison. It helps me get through day to day time in prison. also keeps me out of trouble with my actions.
