Inspiration:

My art reflects on a story of Beata and her daughter Maya. At the age of 10, Maya was brought to the ER in severe pain due to a rare disorder, but a doctor accused her mother, Beata, of Munchausen by Proxy Syndrome. Maya was placed in state custody, having to endure pain without her mother's support. After months without her daughter, Beata died by suicide. Now at 17, Maya wants justice for her mom. A lawsuit was filed against the hospital. Maya recalls, "The ticking was the only thing that broke the silence, and it was awful. I hate clocks. They trigger me." Now with a Nexflix documentary, "Take Care of Maya." Time is now ticking down for justcie to be made. #takecareofmaya

Justice statement:

Justice personally means to me redemption for families who've lost a loved one. Justice means believing when everyone doubts.
