Inspiration:

This is one of my many places that I go to when I am painting while serving out society's justice. My physical body may be behind bars, but my mind and spirit are free.

What role does art play in your life?

Art creates a place where I can go to and find peace in a place of chaos. I enjoy doing Bob Ross landscapes, but have started working on abstract art as well. If I actually have to work to do something, it is no longer enjoyable and defeats the purpose of creating joy.

Justice statement:

As with most things, justice is subjective, as every person has a different perspective of what is just. But we live in a society where justice is codified, and because of this, justice is typically thought of as taking away one's freedoms and liberties to serve as penance for transgressions against others and societal law.
