I wanted to do a piece in honor of the "Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls" day of May 5th, because women are sacred. I had no one's photo, or their family's permission to use their picture for this piece, so I used "Aerith" from Final Fantasy VIII, because she fights for the environment. Inawendiwin (relationships), Manaaji'idiwin (respect), Miigiwe'idiwin (reciprocity).
